Do not be deceived

Sunday 14th January, 2018.

Bible Text: Galatians 6:7-9
7 Do not be deceived: God cannot be mocked. A man reaps what he sows.
8 Whoever sows to please their flesh, from the flesh will reap destruction; whoever sows to please the Spirit, from the Spirit will reap eternal life.
9 Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.
Glorious morning & Happy Sunday!
From our discussion on offerings and tithes, i want to bring it to conclusion by saying “do not be deceived and do not deceive yourself”. The three Bible verses above explain it all. You cannot deceive God, you can only deceive yourself and your fellow human being. If you decide to give God little or unpleasant offering like Cain or if you decide not to tithe, just know that you will reap exactly the same thing. Whether you tithe or not, you give offering or not, it does not change God from been God Almighty.
God will continue to be God the only thing is that you are robbing yourself of God’s blessings. I charge you today not to see that offering or tithe that you want to give to God as something too much out of the little you are earning. God has numerous ways of blessing His faithful children. Why not put Him to test and see what God can do. Do not be weary in doing good (paying your tithe and offering), for you will reap a harvest if you do not give up (verse 9).

1. Thank God for the dawn of another new day and week.
2. God, make this week a favourable week for me in Jesus name.
3. O Lord, order my steps as I go this week.
4. Help me Lord to stop deceiving myself.
5. Father, as i go out this week, do not let me be robbed physically and spiritually.
