Once you meet someone and you fall in love and you are about to go into courtship, go quickly for four basic medical tests. Genotype, Hepatitis, Blood Group, HIV & HIV AIDS.
What are the signals during courtship that may lead you to stop the courtship?
#1. Genotype Disagreement
You need genotype that agrees with your genotype and you need to find out about this medically before courtship deepens and before you introduce your fiancee to your family. What I mean is this:
AA can marry AA; AA can also marry AS
Anything outside the two above will need doctor’s advise, therefore see a doctor.
#2. Hepatitis.
Any discovery of Hepatitis in any of you after your medical tests is a signal to stop further courtship. Hear that well and give it serious consideration.
#3. Differences In Faith
A Christian should marry a Christian.Once you discover that the brother or sister you are in courtship with has deceived you into believing that he or she is a Christian but not, stop the courtship.
#3. Constant Requests For Sex
Run away from a partner constantly requesting for sex- he is not interested in you but wants you as a means of satisfying his sexual urge, stop courtship.
#4. Payment Of Dowry
If the lady has dated somebody who has paid dowry on her before you meet her as the new lover, stop the courtship.
#5. Questionable Character
If you discover a particular character or behaviour in him or her that may cause
serious problem in your new life as spouses in the future and you try to correct it and it proves impossible, stop the courtship.
Courtship Can Break
Brethren, courtship can break for good, marriage must not.
